In the polymer polyamide nylon brush wire series: PA6 and PA66 brush wires are alkali-resistant, but they are easily soluble in formic acid and cannot be used in acidic environments. PA610 and PA612 are resistant to strong alkalis, weak acids, and are easily soluble in formic acid, and can be used for cleaning in strong alkali and weak acid environments. Polyester PBT brush wires are resistant to strong acids and strong alkalis, and can work in strong acid and strong alkali environments without deterioration. Polypropylene PP is alkali-resistant and acid-resistant. In addition to being corroded by concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, it is relatively stable to other chemical reagents.

In this way, PP is a brush wire with relatively stable chemical properties among many brush wires. As long as it is not directly used in concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, it can be widely used. Of course, the chemical properties of acid and alkali resistant brush wires cannot explain the excellent functionality. It needs to be combined with other functions to play the role of each acid and alkali resistant brush wire.
